최영욱 씨는 세명종합병원 이사장으로 24시간 응급의료 서비스 제공, 전공의 집단휴진 대응, 지역사회 보건의료 협업체계 구축 등 지역 의료서비스 향상에 앞장섰다.

 

특히 코로나19 기간 동안 야간선별진료소와 호흡기전담클리닉을 운영하며 1,441일간 선별진료소 역할을 수행한 공로를 인정받았다.
